The School of Humanities and Social Science held its annual School Retreat on 13 August 2026. The Departments gathered to give presentations on AI usage within the School; the topic of Teaching and Plans for Curriculum Re-Development with AI was the focal point for Undergraduate Studies presentations, whilst Graduate Studies presenters honed in on AI applications within their programmes. The ethics and impact of AI, and strategies for research and teaching were also discussed after the presentations were given, where teachers devised their thoughts through group sharings.
