On 24 August 2026, the School of Humanities and Social Science (SHSS) held its Academic Session for New Students 2026/27. The Dean of the School, Professor Kwok-kan TAM together with Associate Dean and all Department Heads/ Associate Head gave a warm welcome to our new students.
In his welcome remarks, Professor Tam encouraged students to make full use of the support and resources provided by the University to broaden their horizons, engage with people from diverse backgrounds and realize their full potential throughout their four years at the University.
The Heads / Associate Head of the respective Departments also shared encouraging remarks and practical advice to help students familiarize themselves with the campus, deepen their understanding of university life and prepare for this exciting new chapter.
