MOU Signing Ceremony

The School of Humanities and Social Science signs Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Association of Motion Picture Post-Production Professionals

On 6 February 2026, The School of Humanities and Social Science held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on industry-academia collaboration with Association of Motion Picture Post-Production Professionals. The partnership aims to enhance knowledge exchange and cooperation between the two parties in film, animation and emerging technologies.

The MOU was signed by Professor Kwok-kan Tam, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Science, and the President of Association of Motion Picture Post Production Professionals, Mr Mak Chun Hung.

Under the agreement, both parties will work closely to promote academic and professional synergy through a range of initiatives. These include organizing workshops on film production, animation and AI filmmaking for our staff and students; providing advice on the development of the School’s new academic programmes and modules, and fostering knowledge exchanges through seminars, talks and public lectures.

The MOU provides a framework to strengthen resource sharing between the two parties and to work together to innovate, develop and cultivate talent in support of the creative industry’s growth.
