Chinese Lion Dance Performance

Relish the show of the Chinese Lion Dance, along with the rhythmic sounds of drums, gongs, cymbals, and other traditional Chinese instruments. The costumes used during a performance are colored and very nicely patterned to express liveliness and courage.

The movements of the lion are vividly performed in skillful choreography-jumping and spinning to bring the lion to life. Rich historical and cultural implications are involved with this dance, symbolizing good luck and prosperity, making it a cherished tradition in celebrations. We would like to share this energetic moment of excitement and fun with you.

Come and be part of this spectacular celebration at the CR Fest!

Spanish Style Dance Performance

Flamenco dance is a vibrant art form that embodies deep emotion and passion. Its rhythm is propelled by the sounds of clapping, guitar, and singing, while common props include scarves, fans, and long skirts.

Clásico Español is a Spanish dance genre that blends flamenco, ballet, and traditional Spanish music. Dancers use castanets (castañuelas) to add percussive accents to their movements. This style emphasizes elegant lines, controlled footwork, and stylized arm movements, often set to the music of Spanish classical composers such as Albéniz and Granados. The dances are choreographed by Clara Ramona and Rochelle Yang.
